What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it directly to us:
- Manuscript submissions: name, email, institutional affiliation, ORCID iD, and the content of your submission
- Reviewer applications: name, email, affiliation, expertise, and publication history
- Contact forms: name, email, and message content
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and access times — collected automatically by Cloudflare and our hosting provider
How We Use Your Data

- To respond to enquiries and correspondence
- To maintain reviewer and editorial board records

Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (managing the journal and its review process) and, where relevant, with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We share data only as follows:
- Peer reviewers: Anonymised manuscript content is shared with reviewers. Author identities are not disclosed (double-blind review).
- Publication: Accepted articles are published with author name and affiliation unless the author requests otherwise.
- Service providers: We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, and Formspree for form processing. Both operate under their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
Submission records are retained for five years after the final decision on a manuscript. Published article data is retained indefinitely as part of the scholarly record. Contact form data is deleted after one year.

- Request correction of inaccurate data
